Xiaomi SU7 Range: Understanding CLTC and Real-World Driving

What the official range figures mean, why conditions matter and what to compare before buying.

Xiaomi SU7 Range: Understanding CLTC and Real-World Driving
Reference configuration; equipment varies by version.

Keep the generation, version and cycle together

The new-generation SU7 comparison lists 720km CLTC for Standard, 902km for Pro and 835km for Max in the stated reference configurations. These numbers must stay attached to their version and test conditions. They should not be applied to every SU7, nor mixed with a different measurement cycle or first-generation specification.

A test-cycle result is not a trip guarantee

Road speed, temperature, heating or cooling, passenger load, tyres, wheel size and driving conditions can change energy use. Charging availability also influences how a vehicle fits a particular journey. We do not turn a CLTC value into an invented real-world distance or promise a fixed percentage of the laboratory result. Use destination-relevant evidence when assessing your usual routes.

Choose around your own use

Compare battery, charging, wheels and comfort equipment alongside the range figure. A private buyer might prioritise regular daily journeys and home charging; a dealer may need several configurations for different customers. Share your intended use, destination and preferred version in the enquiry. Ask for the exact proposed configuration and keep the source date and measurement cycle visible in any quotation comparison.
